Gaurav Chugh, global communications lead, Sun Pharma, has announced that he’s moving on. The move comes after a stint of over 11 years at the pharmaceutical company.

In a post on LinkedIn, he wrote: “After more than 11 years with Sun Pharma, I'm moving on. It has been a long and memorable innings. Of my 26 years in the corporate world, 20 have been spent with two of India’s largest pharmaceutical companies — Sun Pharma and Ranbaxy (in its time). I have loved being a part of this industry, with all its complexity and unique challenges.”

Chugh further wrote that he is now looking to put his knowledge and experience to work in a broader way, by helping organisations ‘establish, strengthen and streamline their communications.’

He also announced that he is venturing into communications consulting.

Prior to Sun Pharma, Chugh worked with Ranbaxy as senior manager, corporate communications.

In a career spanning over 26 years, he has also worked with Tata Power, among other organisations.
