The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has rolled out a film under its 'Main Moorkh Nahi Hun' (I am not a fool) campaign featuring actor Pankaj Tripathi.

Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the film raises awareness about the common tactics used by scammers and fraudsters to loot people. The ad opens with Tripathi receiving a message from an unknown number asking him to download an app if he wants to double his money. Knowing that it is a scam, Tripathi tells the viewers to stay away from anyone who tempts them with easy money.

What we think about it: The ad is concise and delivers the message effectively. As the film stays focused on what it wants to communicate, viewers are able to absorb the information immediately.

The film was released on 30 December.
