Reliance and Blast form JV to create IPs for the Indian market

Blast works with the likes of Epic Games, Krafton and Riot Games, among others, to create global esports properties.

Reliance Industries' Rise Worldwide has partnered with Blast.

Blast works with game publishers like Epic Games, Valve, Riot Games, Krafton and Ubisoft to create esports properties. 
The joint venture's ambition is to attract top tier titles and events in the future in India.

It's formed at a time when India's gamer base is growing. It currently has a base of more than 600 million gamers, 18% of the total gamers globally. It is projected to grow by 19% to reach USD 9.2 billion by 2029 from USD 3.8 billion in 2024. 

This partnership will bring Blast's global esports properties and production techniques to India while co-creating new tournament IPs.

Blast is a European-based esports entertainment company. The properties it works with include Rocket League, Fortnite, Rainbow Six, PUBG, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2.
