Valerie Pinto has exited Weber Shandwick India. 

She was the CEO. 

Pinto has spent over a decade at the media firm. She had joined Weber Shandwick India in 2015 to lead its India operations and has been a member of the firm’s Asia Pacific board. 

The firm announced the transition through a holding statement, confirming that Pinto would continue for the next six months to support a smooth handover process. 

For the interim period, Shashikant Someshwar and Karan Bhandari will continue as managing directors, reporting to Tyler Kim, CEO, Weber Shandwick Asia Pacific. 

Weber Shandwick stated that this leadership change would not affect its strategic delivery or client servicing commitments in India. 

In a career spanning over 28 years, she has also worked with UTV and Perfect Relations.
