Gunjan Soni has been appointed as the country managing director, YouTube India.

Gautam Anand, vice president and managing director, YouTube Asia Pacific, took to LinkedIn to announce the appointment.

In his post, Anand said, "Exciting news from my APAC leadership team! As India remains one of YouTube's most vibrant and crucial markets, brimming with creativity and opportunity, I'm delighted to announce that Gunjan Soni has joined YouTube as our new country managing director for India."

Soni moves from Global Fashion Group where she was chief operating officer - GFG, and CEO, Zalora SEA. 

In a career spanning over two decades, Soni has worked with Myntra, Star India and McKinsey & Company, among others.
