Deep Bajaj and Mohit Bajaj, founders of feminine hygiene brand Sirona, have brought back their company from the Good Glamm Group.
Co-founder Deep Bajaj announced the completion of the buyback from the cash-strapped beauty and personal care company in a LinkedIn post.
Explaining the decision to first sell and then buy back the brand, Bajaj stated, “The goal was never just to sell, make money, and move on. From day one, the vision was to scale and take it global. For two years, we nurtured the brand with Good Glamm before stepping away. We had a good run together, with its highs and lows. But with Good Glamm’s changing priorities, we felt the best way forward was to reclaim the brand and lead its next phase of growth ourselves.”
“We still have more to contribute to the feminine hygiene space. And this time, we return with the same passion, a bit more wisdom, and an even bigger vision to create a meaningful impact," he added.
The Mumbai-based Good Glamm Group had completed the acquisition of the femtech brand in October last year for INR 450 crore. According to media reports, Deep and Mohit Bajaj have purchased the brand back at INR 150 crore.
Founded in 2014 by Deep and Mohit Bajaj, Sirona specialises in a range of feminine hygiene products and solutions.
