Britannia Industries has announced that Amit Doshi, chief marketing officer of the company, has resigned.
Doshi has decided to pursue an opportunity outside Britannia and submitted his resignation on 31 January 2025, the company stated. His last working day will be 17 March 2025.
Doshi joined the Indian multinational food products company as chief marketing officer (CMO) in January 2022. This was his second stint at the FMCG conglomerate, having previously worked for over eight years from 2004 to 2013.
Rajneet Kohli, CEO and executive director, Britannia Industries, said, “We are grateful for Amit’s outstanding leadership and significant contributions to Britannia. His vision and dedication have been instrumental in redefining marketing efforts for the company and institutionalising new benchmarks. Amit leaves a lasting legacy of impact and will be missed by the entire Britannia team. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
Previously, he has also served as Lenovo chief marketing officer (India and South Asia) for over eight years before joining Britannia again in the capacity of CMO.
In a career spanning over two decades Doshi also had a brief stint at Perfetti Van Melle.
His next move is not known.
