Meta’s fourth quarter and full year results for 2024 have been revealed.

According to the report, the daily active people in December 2024 stood at 3.35 billion, a 5% increase from 2023.

Ad impressions delivered across its apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) increased by 6% and 11% year-over-year for the fourth quarter and full year 2024, respectively.

The revenue for Meta in 2024 was USD 164.5 billion, up from USD 134.9 billion in 2023.

While there were reductions in staff in previous years, the 2024 headcount was 74,067, a 10% increase from 2023.

Susan Li, CFO, Meta, stated that Meta expects the first quarter of 2025 to see revenue between USD 39.5-41.8 billion. 

If this target is met, it will see a 8-15% year-over-year growth.
