Tata Consumer Products appoints Rajesh Gopal as global chief digital officer

He takes over from T V Swaminathan, who has moved on to helm the digital business at Tata Motors.

Tata Consumer Products (TCP) has announced the appointment of Rajesh Gopal as global chief digital officer. He takes over the role from T V Swaminathan, who has moved on to helm the digital business at Tata Motors. 

The move is in line with the company's continued focus to strengthen its digital transformation agenda. 

Prior to this, Gopal served as regional chief information officer – APAC and GCC head at Kimberly-Clark. 

In a career spanning nearly two decades, Gopal has held leadership positions in the digital function at several organisations including ITC , L'Oréal, and Unilever.
