Star Sports' IPL film

Star Sports has rolled out one more promo for the ongoing IPL. After the last promo which urged the youth to live without fear, this film stresses on unity, showcasing how people move to big cities to earn their livelihoods.

It opens with shots of people either entering a city or their first day at work, with those around them questioning them and also raising concerns on the same. One of them is asked, 'where are you from?'As he's getting ready to answer it, he transforms to cricketer Shreyas Iyer wearing the Punjab Kings jersey and breaking into a rap stating how it doesn't matter where one comes from. Other cricketers, including Tilak Varma, Mohammed Siraj, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Krunal Pandya, join to reveal how they've similarly moved towns to represent different IPL teams to push the message home.

What we think about it: Using the cricketers to spread an important message of unity is a clever idea by the team. It does catch the attention of the viewer.

The film was released on 30 March for the tournament that kicked off on 28 March.
