Jaquar's '#ASpaceForYouToJustBe' campaign.

Jaquar Bath + Light has rolled out a campaign '#ASpaceForYouToJustBe' to spotlight its new offerings.

Conceptualised by Enormous, the campaign comprises two ad films.

The first film, titled 'Footsie' (above), follows a couple attempting to share an intimate moment around town, only to be repeatedly interrupted in public spaces. From a waitress to an elderly lady, there is always someone getting in the way. However, once they reach their hotel room, they step into a bathroom fitted with Jaquar’s Wellness fittings, where they can finally enjoy their moment together.

The second film, 'Singer' (below) features a man performing 'We No Speak Americano' at a café. As he sings, the patrons begin to groove to his tune and unexpectedly follow him outside. The growing crowd trails him all the way to an ATM, where they burst into applause. The film then displays the line, "Until the world reacts like this," hinting at the exuberance of the moment, before cutting to the singer enjoying a private performance in Jaquar’s shower enclosures - a space to just be.

What we think about it: The films explore privacy as a luxury but it feels more philosophical than product-driven. 'Footsie' leans on sensuality without a strong brand link, while 'Singer' offers a quirky take on self-expression. Both reinforce the brand’s positioning but miss showcasing its product offerings meaningfully. The ads set the mood and reinforce the philosophy of the products, but their impact on purchase intent is unclear. That said, the production quality is top-tier.
