Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), has rolled out its first campaign for PKL season 11, featuring actor Riteish Deshmukh.

The tournament will kick off on 18 October with a showdown between the Telugu Titans and Bengaluru Bulls in the opening match in Hyderabad.  

The promo campaign, which consists of a film, set in a jungle, showcases the actor in his Lai Bhaari avatar as a lone trooper, embodying the prowess and dexterity of a tiger as he faces off against his opponents on a battleground. Using this metaphor, the film mirrors the lightning speed, instincts, and mental grit that define kabaddi players, pulling viewers into a world where every move could spell the difference between a triumph and a setback. 

What we think about it: The film, set against a rousing background score with vivid imagery, effectively captures the thrill and heart-pounding intensity of the game.
