Star Sports' 'India ka sabse bada pyaar' campaign

Star Sports has rolled out a campaign, 'India ka sabse bada pyaar' (India's biggest love) for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Conceptualised in-house, the film features people from all walks of life practicing different cricket strokes. From a young child playing on the terrace of his house to a government employee sitting in his office, everyone can be seen 'expressing their love' for the sport.

Earlier this week, the channel which holds the broadcasting rights for the tournament, rolled out the latest instalment of its 'mauka mauka' campaign for the India-Pakistan clash.

What we think about it: The film perfectly captures the fervour around cricket amongst Indian fans, for whom the sport is not just a game but a pure emotion. Building up on the idea of how excited and passionate people get as the tournament nears, the film has nicely portrayed the spirit of cricket in the country. Showcasing people from every age, gender and background, the film has tried to make a better connect with a wider audience.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup is scheduled to start on 2 June 2024 and the India-Pakistan match is set to be played on 9 June 2024.
