Google has rolled out a film for its Pixel 9 series featuring former Arsenal and England footballer, Sol Campbell.

In the film Campbell, compares his controversial move from Tottenham to Arsenal from 2001. With the football transfer window currently open, Campbell states how it's that time of the year when people might wonder if the grass is greener on the other side, saying how players could be looking to switch clubs. He removes his White sweater to reveal a Red one beneath, referring to his move from Tottenham, a club that wears White, to Arsenal a team that wears White and Red. He states that while they generate opinions 'big moves pay off'. He states that one can stay with a team for another year, but nothing really changes, and adds that one is just changing to something 'much-much better' before revealing that he's talking about switching to the Google Pixel 9.

What we think about it: Google Pixel 9 is a global partner for Arsenal FC, and this film leverages that partnership brilliantly. It's generating the buzz and while the partnership may not have just been enough to get Arsenal fans to switch to the Pixel, but a film like this will surely make them consider it.

The film was released across social media on 14 January.
