Capri Sports' ‘Meet the Unstoppables' campaign.

Capri Sports has rolled out a campaign, ‘Meet the Unstoppables’, featuring eight women footballers ahead of the 2026–27 season of the Lxme Indian Women’s League.

Conceptualised by Sweat Media, the campaign comprises an ad film.

The film traces a woman footballer’s journey from grassroots football to the stadium tunnel, highlighting the training, sacrifices and determination required to reach the highest level of domestic women’s club football in India. The film features one player from each of the league’s eight participating clubs: Shubhangi of Gokulam Kerala FC, Chanu of East Bengal FC, Shruti of BBFS Garhwal United FC, Anushka of Kickstart FC, Kiran of Juba Sangha FC, Pooja of HOPS FC, Malavika of Sethu FC and Cindy of Nita Football Academy.

Through their individual journeys, the film sheds light on the challenges women face in pursuing football and their determination to carve out a place in the sport. Its messaging, captured in lines such as ‘Pressure? Aane do, ussi se toh champions bante hai’ and ‘This is Us, This is Our Game’, reinforces the resilience and ambition of women footballers. The campaign also underscores the need for greater visibility, more playing opportunities and stronger professional pathways as women's domestic football continues to evolve.

The campaign comes amid growing competitiveness in Indian women’s football. The Indian senior women’s national team is currently ranked 69th in the FIFA Women's World Rankings and 13th in Asia.

What we think about it:  The film builds an inspiring narrative around the grit, sacrifices and determination of women footballers, with the eight players bringing authenticity and personality to its message of resilience and ambition. Its strong messaging around breaking barriers, claiming space and celebrating women's growing presence in the sport makes it an encouraging ode to a generation determined to take Indian women's football forward.

Jinisha Sharma, director and promoter, Capri Sports, said, "The remarkable thing about women’s football in India is not that these players have faced barriers. It is that, despite everything, they have never stopped showing up for the sport they love. Their ambition has never been the problem. Their talent has never been the problem. What has been missing is the attention, investment and platform to match it. Meet the Unstoppables is about recognising the extraordinary commitment that already exists in the game. Through the Lxme IWL, we want to ensure that the future of women’s football is defined not by the obstacles its players have overcome, but by everything they are capable of achieving."

The upcoming Lxme IWL 2026–27 season, commencing on 13 November, will bring together eight clubs competing for the coveted title, providing a platform for some of India's finest women footballers to showcase their talent.

The tournament will be live-streamed on Youtube.
