India TV restructures sales team to align with expanding digital presence

Mini Harrison to head India TV Television; Avdhesh Kumar to lead CTV and streaming platforms; Sourav Dev will head Speed News.

India TV has announced a restructuring of its sales team to better align with its expanding presence across television, connected TV (CTV), and streaming platforms. 

The sales strategy overhaul aims to drive growth and enhance the network's ability to provide targeted advertising solutions.

This strategic shift intends to strengthen India TV’s position in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Under the leadership of Sudipto Chowdhuri, chief revenue officer, India TV's sales team has been restructured into three key divisions to align with the company's expanding channels and platforms. 

The television division, will be led by Mini Harrison as national head, includes regional leads Manan Sheel Bhasin (North), Supreeth S Gondkar (South), Shyamotpal Chanda (East), and Arghya Roy Chowdhury (West). 

Further, Avdhesh Kumar, national head of CTV and streaming platforms, will lead the digital sales division, drawing on his experience from roles at Inshorts, Star Jalsha, Channel V, and The Walt Disney Company. Kumar's team includes Pratibha Mishra (North and East) and Shriram Devati (South and West), both recognised for their expertise in revenue growth and market development.

Sourav Dev, national head of Speed News, will oversee the channel's sales operations, supported by Subhadip Bandopadhyay (North and East) and Sreyashi Banerjee (South and West). The trios combined expertise in sales and marketing, drawn from their tenures at Times Network, TV Today Network, and other leading media companies, will be instrumental in driving growth for the Speed News channel.
