NP Singh, CEO and MD, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), has informed the company that it should start its hunt for a successor. Singh joined the company in 1999.

He will continue to lead the functions of SPNI till a new successor has been appointed. 

He joined the company 25 years ago as chief financial officer and was elevated as chief operating officer in 2004. In 2014, he was elevated as managing director and CEO and served in this role till his exit. 

In a career spanning over 42 years, he has also worked with Hindustan Copper and Spice Telecom, among others.
