Mahindra Group has announced the appointment of Shveta Arya as group chief strategy officer, effective 15 September, 2026. She will also form part of the senior management of Mahindra & Mahindra.

In her new role Arya will lead the group strategy office, working across the group’s portfolio of businesses to identify growth opportunities, unlock value and drive long-term strategic advantage. She will be part of the group executive board and will report to Dr Anish Shah, group CEO and MD, Mahindra Group.

She moves from Cummins India, after a stint of 10 years, where she was most recently serving as the managing director. She joined the organisation in 2016 as head - strategy.
