PMG Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hakuhodo, has announced the elevation of Prashant Kaul as chief operating officer.
Kaul takes on a strategic mandate with an aim to reimagine operations as a key lever of competitive advantage. He will lead the transformation of PMG into the foremost integrated brand experience partner across South Asia and ASEAN.
He will also build on this regional experience to further enhance operational alignment, market collaboration and PMG’s growth agenda across Asia, as part of his new role.
Kaul was previously managing director - South Asia, and joined PMG Singapore in 2003 as business development manager.
His leadership has been central to PMG India’s evolution from a one-person operation in 2006 into one of the company’s largest markets, with a team of more than 250 professionals in 2026 and expansion across Bengaluru and Mumbai.
As managing director, India from 2016, and later managing director – South Asia from 2021, Kaul led PMG India’s growth and capability expansion into 360-degree integrated marketing communications offerings.
