Goafest, which is hosted by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and The Advertising Club, will host its 2024 edition in Mumbai at the Westin in Powai.
The decision to move the three-day festival from Grand Hyatt Goa (Bambolim) to Mumbai is due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
However, the elections in Goa are stated to be held on 7 May 2024, while voting day in Mumbai is 20 May 2024. According to highly placed sources, the move from Bambolim to Mumbai is due to the availability of speakers from the media industry who have not committed to travelling to Goa on those said dates.
Prasanth Kumar, president, Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), and CEO, GroupM, South Asia, said, “We're excited to announce that Goafest is happening in Mumbai this year, despite a few logistical challenges.
