Coca-Cola has rolled out a campaign #JustAddCokeZero featuring actor Tiger Shroff to highlight the offerings of Coke Zero in collaboration with Swiggy Instamart.
The campaign, comprising two films, showcases how life’s little interruptions can be resolved with a swig of Coke Zero and a little help from the quick commerce service.
The first film shows the actor, along with a friend, engrossed in an intense horror movie, only for the jump scare to be interrupted when the female protagonist runs out of her drink. This leads the monster in the film to break character and deliver Shroff’s viral dialogue, 'Choti Bacchi Ho Kya?' (Are you a little kid?). The eerie atmosphere is soon restored after a quick delivery of Coke Zero from Swiggy Instamart.
The second film captures a heartfelt proposal that is awkwardly interrupted, much to the annoyance of the couple. However, the disruption is swiftly resolved when the interrupter’s drink is delivered, allowing the romantic moment to continue seamlessly.
What we think about it: The first film cleverly blurs the lines between screen and reality, with the monster stepping into the action and adding a playful twist, while also tapping into the actor's popular movie dialogue. The second film reinforces the theme by highlighting the need for an immediate Coke Zero fix. Together, the two spots deliver a lighthearted message that lands effectively.
