Visa has rolled out a campaign, 'Everything is a tap in with Visa', featuring footballers Lamine Yamal and Erling Haaland, and actor Jason Sudeikis, ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026.
The film opens with Sudeikis sitting in his green room, expressing how he wishes to go back for the games, while watching Yamal play on the TV, scoring a 'tap-in'. In that moment, he picks up his Visa card and taps it against the script in front of him — instantly transforming it into football tickets. With that single tap, his journey to the tournament begins. Throughout the film, he keeps tapping around to upgrade his experiences. His quiet trailer morphs into a bustling taxi, and the driver suddenly becomes Erling Haaland, who takes him 'across the pond' to North America. The film culminates with Sudeikis finally arriving at the stadium, immersed in the electric atmosphere of the beautiful game.
What we think about it: The film is a fast-paced and entertaining celebration of football fandom, blending humour, nostalgia, and spectacle. The tap to upgrade concept keeps the narrative visually dynamic, making the film feel both cinematic and playful from start to finish.
The film released on 19 May.
