Paytm's latest ad film

Paytm has rolled out a campaign 'jab bhi India future ka plan banaega, Paytm hamesha apka sath nibhaega', (whenever India plans for its future, Paytm will stand by you) echoing its commitment to make mobile payments accessible in every part of the country.

The campaign, which consists of two ad films, emphasises the brand's dedication to bringing digital payments to every corner of the nation, empowering individuals to achieve their future goals.

In the first ad film (above), parents at a train station send their son off to college. The father transfers money to his son, who receives it instantly as he boards the train. The son, looking at his father, promises that in five years, he will be the one sending money, quoting a large amount that signifies his trust in the payment app.

The second film features a customer at a salon, who, after finishing his grooming, pays using a Paytm QR code. When the customer asks the hairstylist if it's his QR code, the stylist replies that it isn't but expresses his aspiration to have his own QR code one day. The customer agrees, affirming that the stylist will achieve this dream.

Both ad films underscore that Paytm will be a key enabler, supporting ambitious future plans.

What we think about it: The films stand out for their heartfelt storytelling and relatable scenarios, emphasising the brand's commitment to making digital payments accessible nationwide. By showcasing personal aspirations and future plans, it effectively highlights Paytm's role as a trusted partner in India's digital transformation. As the brand has undergone a lot of scrutiny in recent months, these films will hope to restore its faith in the minds of the consumer.
