Apple's ‘Mac does that' campaign

Apple has rolled out a campaign ‘Mac does that’ for its MacBook Pro, showcasing its standout features, such as its long-lasting battery and anti-glare display.

The first ad depicts an individual lounging at his home, blissfully ignorant of the fact that he has accidentally left his MacBook Pro charger behind in the subway. While the scene is played for laughs, the ad implies that the user has remained unaware of the loss for so long, thanks to his Mac’s 24 hours of battery life, thus spotlighting the Mac’s reliability.

Apple's second film features a man sunbathing on a rooftop with his MacBook Pro. Despite the blistering sun, the nano-texture display remains crystal clear, allowing him to work in perfect visibility, effectively showcasing the laptop's anti-glare capabilities.

What we think about it: Both the ads demonstrate the product’s capabilities under adverse conditions in a simple yet effective manner, with a touch of humour, thus highlighting the Mac's aspirational qualities.
