7-Eleven has rolled out a campaign 'What's your reason to visit' to highlight its product offerings open till late at night.
The campaign comprises a series of three ad films, each spotlighting a unique reason to visit 7-Eleven. The first film (above) features a son enjoying a burger and fries while complaining about the bitter gourd (karela) served at home. Unbeknownst to him, his mother is at the 7-Eleven store buying cleaning products. Overhearing his comment, she quips, "Aaj to dhulai hogi" (Today, there will be some 'cleaning up!').
The second film opens with a girl wearing a t-shirt that reads "I'm with a stupid person," pointing at her friend who is enjoying an ice cream. Speaking to the camera, she explains that she’s out at 2 AM because her friend craved an ice cream sundae—showcasing 7-Eleven’s late-night convenience. The film ends humorously when the friend points out that she is a "stupid person."
The third film portrays two colleagues at the checkout counter. One optimistically adds drinks to the cart, saying, “If we get an appraisal…” The other, with a cheeky grin, adds tissue boxes, remarking, “…just in case we don’t.”
Each film highlights relatable and humorous scenarios, emphasizing 7-Eleven’s readiness to serve, no matter the hour.
What we think about it: The short films effectively portray late-night cravings, quirky humour, and relatable daily moments, showcasing the store's convenience engagingly and memorably.
The campaign was rolled out on OTT, YouTube and Instagram on 21 November.
