iQOO's 'Your Everyday Now Smarter With AI'

iQOO has rolled out a campaign, 'Your Everyday Now Smarter With AI', to showcase the offerings of its Z11.

Conceptualised by Dentsu Creative Webchutney, the campaign comprises an ad film.

Built around the universal expression 'blah blah blah', the film follows a young intern attending an international meeting on his first day. As different accents, languages and workplace jargon begin to blur together, he struggles to keep pace with the conversation. His iQOO Z11 steps in with AI-powered transcription and translation, helping him follow the discussion in real time. As the conversation starts to make sense, he gains the confidence to participate and hold his own in the room. The phrase 'blah blah blah' serves as the film’s central creative device, punctuating the meeting and capturing the intern’s confusion while adding a distinct sense of humour to the narrative.

What we think about it: The film’s central narrative device is simple and relatable, capturing the confusion of being new at work in a way that will resonate with younger consumers navigating their first jobs and unfamiliar environments, while the fast pace and catchy track keep it engaging. However, the AI integration feels fairly predictable, and the film could have pushed the humour or the intern’s transformation a little further to make the idea more memorable.

Nipun Marya, CEO, IQOO India said, “We believe the best technology starts with a deep understanding of the consumer. That means looking beyond specifications to the moments that matter in their everyday lives. With the iQOO Z11, we wanted to show how AI can make one such moment simpler, smarter and more empowering, especially for students and young interns navigating everyday life.”

Ujjwal Anand, managing partner, Dentsu Creative Webchutney, added, “‘Blah blah blah’ is about as simple as an idea can get. The fun was turning that simplicity into something people would want to watch and remember. iQOO gave us the freedom to push the idea, and the team brought the humour, craft and energy to make it work. That combination is where brave creative comes alive.”

Moumita Pal, national creative director, Dentsu Creative Webchutney, said, “We loved the absurdity of taking a very real first-day-at-work feeling and literally turning everything into ‘blah blah blah’. From the performances and pacing to the music, every element had to keep that energy going. The iQOO Z11 then comes in at exactly the right moment and changes the game for our protagonist. We wanted the film to be the kind of work people remember, talk about and send to someone who has been in that exact situation.”
