Urban Company has rolled out a campaign, 'AC kar raha hai 'Emotions Ke Saath Khilwad' (Is the AC playing with your emotions?), spotlighting its servicing of Foamjet ACs.
Conceptualised by Manja, the campaign consists of an ad film. It opens with a man whose face mimics emojis, reflecting his emotions. As he returns from a shopping trip in the sweltering heat, his face shows sadness. He switches on the AC, but an exhaustion emoji appears, soon turning into a heated one as the AC fails to cool the room. Despite lowering the temperature repeatedly, nothing changes, and his discomfort intensifies, reflected through a series of evolving emojis. A voiceover then asks, "Is the AC playing with your emotions?"—just as an Urban Company service expert arrives to fix the issue. The film concludes with the man’s face displaying a heart emoji, finally enjoying the cool relief.
What we think about it: Cleverly uses emojis to turn AC troubles into a visual storytelling device, making discomfort instantly relatable. The playful execution ensures the message lands with humour while reinforcing the brand’s promise of hassle-free service.
