Adani Group has released a film 'Pehle Pankha Aayega, Phir Bijli Aayegi' (First Fan, Then Electricity), as a part of its 'Hum Karke Dikhaate Hai' campaign.

Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the film opens with a young boy asking his dad when the electricity will come and when will the fan start. To this, his dad replied that first, the fan would come and then electricity. The boy then goes on repeating this to everyone around him but faces a lot of ridicule in his village, until one day when a wind turbine is installed there. The wind turbine which resembles a fan, illuminates his entire village with clean energy, thus making the boy's belief come true.

What we think about it: The film delivers a captivating and fresh narrative that strikes an emotional chord with the audience. Blending impactful storytelling with a relatable insight, the ad is transformative in nature and reinforces a message of belief and progress through innovation.

Pranav Adani, director, Adani Enterprises, said, "This campaign truly embodies the essence of the Adani Group. While we are acknowledged for our size, speed and scale, what distinguishes this initiative is its power to touch hearts. It reflects our unwavering commitment to harnessing infrastructure as a catalyst for meaningful change. By emphasising the human stories behind our businesses, we aim to create deep emotional connections and underscore our dedication to driving positive change in the lives of millions of Indians."

Piyush Pandey, chief advisor, Ogilvy India, said, "This is a touching film about an important benefit to the consumers. It is not a chest-thumping statement of the technological expertise of Adani Renewables. It captures the human-first belief of Adani."

The film was released on 18 December.
