FNP's 'Door ho ya paas, Rakhi banayein khaas' campaign

FNP (Ferns N Petals) has rolled out a campaign, 'Door ho ya paas, Rakhi banayein khaas,' (Whether near or far, make Rakshabandhan special), ahead of Rakshabandhan.

The campaign which consists of a film, opens with a brother receiving a Rakhi gift box from his sister. When the brother opens the box, he finds a note saying that he will get his Rakhi after winning the medal, and this is for his badminton racquet which will help him fulfil his dream. The film culminates on a heartfelt note where the brother goes on to tie the Rakhi- the symbol of his sister's love and faith, around the racquet.

What we think about it: Focusing on the sentimental aspect of the festival and the emotional bond of siblings, the film tugs at the viewer's heartstrings. The medal angle marries two current topics - the festival and the Olympics together.

The film was released on 17 July.
