Yas Island Abu Dhabi has rolled out the remaining editions of its 'Zindagi Ko Yas Bol' (Say Yas to Life) campaign.
The campaign which consists of a total of five ad films (out of which the first ad film was covered here) features actors from the 2011 movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol.
In the second film (view lead video), the trio embarks on an exhilarating rollercoaster at Warner Bros. World in Abu Dhabi. As the ride ends, Akhtar and Roshan tease Deol for screaming throughout. Their adventure continues when they encounter a Joker impersonator from Batman, whom they dub the 'master of pranks.' Deol then challenges Akhtar and Roshan to a prank-off, with the winner deciding the costumes the others must wear. However, the Joker outsmarts them all, scaring Akhtar and Roshan while Deol remains unfazed flipping the challenge on its head. True to their word, Akhtar and Roshan don Tom and Jerry costumes, while Deol confidently sports a Batman suit.
In the third film, the trio visits SeaWorld, where they observe sharks and various marine creatures. However, Roshan seems a bit hesitant, prompting his two friends to tease him by calling him a chicken and mimicking chicken sounds. They then remind him of his own words: "We need to Yas to life!" In the end, they all embrace the experience and thoroughly enjoy their marine adventure.
In the fourth film, the trio heads to Yas Marina Circuit, home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, for a high-speed showdown. With engines roaring and adrenaline pumping, they race each other, pushing their limits on the iconic track.
In the fifth film, Akhtar and Deol are at a club, enjoying a drink while waiting for Roshan, who is running late. As Akhtar attempts to flirt with a woman at the counter, Roshan finally calls, urging them to step outside. To their surprise, he has planned a yacht trip for their last night. They soak in every moment, grateful they took this chance to reunite. As their adventure comes to an end, they promise not to wait another 14 years to reconnect and take a trip like this again. The film closes with their final toast: Zindagi Ko Yas Bol!
What we think about it: This whole campaign masterfully blends nostalgia with adventure, reuniting the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, trio for a thrilling escapade. Each film highlights a unique Yas Island experience, keeping the energy high and the chemistry effortless. The playful banter and breathtaking locations make it a visual delight, reinforcing the campaign’s vibrant, feel-good message. With its mix of humour, thrill, and sentiment, it’s a compelling invitation to say Yas to life!
