Agoda and Atlys redefine travel for Indians, turning 'bummer vacations' into bon voyages

Agoda and Atlys' ‘From Bummer to Dream International Vacation’ campaign.

Agoda and Atlys have co-launched a campaign, ‘From Bummer to Dream International Vacation’ to highlight the stress often associated with travelling abroad. 

Conceptualised by Kulfi Collective, the campaign features an ad film. 

The film centred around a conversation between a grandmother and her grandson, Veer, as they sat on a sofa. Clutching a Stanley Cup, Veer’s grandmother jokes, “Sabki hoti hai summer vacation, Veer ki hoti hai bummer vacation” (everyone has a summer vacation, Veer however has a bummer vacation!) As Veer recounts how his friends travel to places like Switzerland and Miami, he laments being stuck at his grandmother's house every summer for the past ten years. Frustrated by his father’s failure to score good travel deals despite his mother’s hurdle-racing prowess to get a Visa - Veer had almost given up. But hope arrives when his friends recommend combining Atlys for hassle-free visa processing with Agoda’s unbeatable hotel deals, finally putting an international holiday within his reach.

What we think about it: Taps into the emotional frustration of missed vacations to spotlight real travel pain points. By blending humour and heart, it positions the Agoda-Atlys partnership as a smart, stress-free fix for international getaways.
