Swiggy has rolled out a film to explain how its 10-minute delivery feature Bolt works.

In October last year, Swiggy announced the launch of Bolt, as it catered to deliver quick-to-prepare meals from restaurants and QSRs within a 2 km radius of the consumer. A film featuring Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has now been rolled out to explain how it works.

Conceptualised by Moonshot, the film opens with Pant alongside his friend at a house. His friend claims that he's extremely hungry. Pant asks him what he wants to eat and tells him Swiggy will deliver it in 10 minutes. The friend is surprised to hear about the 10-minute promise and starts imagining how the order will be fulfilled that quickly. His imagination takes him to chefs running while cooking and then meeting a Swiggy delivery boy en route, who does the last-mile delivery. He comes back to reality when the bell rings at home, as Pant tells him that Swiggy's delivery crew are stationed outside the restaurants so food is delivered in 10 minutes.

What we think about it: The Moonshot-Swiggy partnership delivers yet another humour-filled campaign to explain a simple but much-questioned concept about quick food delivery.

The film released on 15 February.
