Google India's ‘Kaise Bolun' campaign

Google India has rolled out a campaign, ‘Kaise Bolun’, for Google Search.

Conceptualised by McCann, the campaign comprises a film. The campaign highlights how Google Search is evolving from a platform for quick answers into a helpful guide for navigating more complex, real-life decisions. Rooted in the insight that big life choices often require more than a single fact, the film follows a young man who dreams of opening a café despite having cleared his competitive exams and being expected to pursue engineering. Encouraged by his sister to share his ambitions with his father, Karan turns to AI Mode in Google Search for guidance on how to approach the conversation and turn his passion into a viable business.

Through a series of conversational queries and follow-ups, AI Mode helps him build a practical plan, from understanding the needs of students around him to exploring financing options. Equipped with the confidence and preparation to present his vision, the boy wins his father’s support, with the film culminating in a heartwarming moment as his father asks to become a partner in the venture.

What we think about it: The narrative effectively showcases how Google Search’s AI Mode can help turn aspirations into actionable plans. While the storytelling is engaging and the product integration feels organic, the film could have been a little crisper, as the runtime slightly takes away from its overall impact.
