Zlade has rolled out a campaign ahead of Valentine's Day titled 'How Love Was Born - The Garden of Eden' featuring actor Milind Soman, to highlight the offerings of its men's body trimmer.
Conceptualised in-house, the campaign consists of an ad film. It brings a bold twist to the world’s first love story. The film reimagines the tale of Adam and Eve, where first came the trim, then came the sin. Set in a biblical genesis-inspired world, Soman plays Adam, flexing his strength with push-ups and lifting rocks to impress Eve. But when a sly serpent appears, it reveals a secret: love isn’t won through brute force. Enter the Zlade Ballistic trimmer—glowing like the forbidden fruit. Guided by a user manual from the serpent, Adam trims himself to perfection, and suddenly, Eve is drawn to him. The film ends by revealing that this was how love was truly born.
What we think about it: A clever spin on the classic Adam and Eve story makes for a witty and memorable ad film, seamlessly tying grooming to attraction. By blending mythology with modern masculinity, the film delivers a playful yet impactful message just in time for Valentine's Day.
This campaign was released across social media on 7 February.
