Nescafé has rolled out its 'Make Your World' campaign, showcasing how its instant coffee can fuel people as they work towards their goals and tick off everything on their wishlist.
The campaign features an ad film in which a young man returns home after his first day of college and excitedly tells his older sister about his packed schedule. She reminds him that college will also bring tournaments, relationships and other experiences, before pointing to a photo of them at a dog shelter and hoping that passion won't be forgotten. Telling him that college is 'a marathon, not a race', she gifts him a jar of Nescafé, saying a cup of coffee will help rev his journey towards achieving everything he sets out to do.
What we think about it: The sibling dynamic gives the film warmth and relatability, while its reminder that college is about more than academics makes the message feel authentic. In a category crowded with competitors, Nescafé continues to keep its communication fresh by moving beyond functional messaging around coffee and energy, instead rooting the brand in an emotionally resonant, everyday moment that reflects the aspirations and experiences of its audience.
The film was released on YouTube on 1 August.
