Zupee's 'Sadiyon Se India Ka Apna Game’ campaign

Zupee has rolled out a campaign, ‘Sadiyon Se India Ka Apna Game,’ (India's own game through the ages) that celebrates the timeless appeal of Ludo, the board game.

Conceptualised by Leo Burnett India, showcases how the board game has evolved through the ages, retaining its fun quotient for players spanning centuries of gaming.

Comprising a multi-starrer narrative featuring actors Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Grover, Mouni Roy, Vijay Raaz, and Abhay Deol, the campaign showcases each actor epitomising a different era with a quirky sense of humour.

The film pans right from the early cave man era to the royal court of kings, and the black and white retro era, culminating in its modern-day skill-based avatar on  the Zupee app.

What we think of it: The film manages to capture the traditional board game's engaging appeal for India down the years with a quirky narrative comprising actor Grover donning multiple avatars - from a caveman and a minister in a royal court to the modern-day man.

Dilsher Singh Malhi, founder and CEO, Zupee, said, "We are delighted to introduce 'Sadiyon Se India Ka Apna Game,' a campaign celebrating Ludo's enduring legacy. As a beloved classic, Ludo has united people across generations. This campaign not only highlights Ludo's journey from ancient times to its modern avatar on Zupee, but also underscores our commitment to blending tradition with innovation in skill-based gaming. Collaborating with esteemed talents like Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Grover, Mouni Roy, Vijay Raaz, and Abhay Deol adds a unique touch to amplify the joy of playing Ludo to an even wider audience!"
