Star Sports has rolled out a promo for the upcoming India-Sri Lanka ODI series featuring Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The duo, who only play the ODI format for team India, are shown getting together and discussing how they continue having fun while playing cricket even though they have played together for several years. 

They discuss how players like KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Shubman Gill also continue being excited as it's the build-up to a big year - one which will host the ICC Men's ODI World Cup in South Africa. While the duo state that they will have fun during the year, the voiceover states the preparation to winning the World Cup starts with India hosting Sri Lanka in an ODI series which is scheduled to start on 13 December.

What we think about it: Seeing Virat and Rohit together always heightens the excitement for cricket fans. This does the same and states how the preparations for the World Cup are now in full flow.
