SPNI secures exclusive television and digital rights for the India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan A series

The agreement allows SPNI to exclusively televise and livestream the matches in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka.

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has secured the exclusive television and digital rights for the tri-nation series that will take place between India A, Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A from 9 June to 21 June in Sri Lanka.

The agreement allows SPNI to exclusively televise and livestream the matches in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka.  

India A will be captained by Tilak Varma, with Ruturaj Gaikwad as vice-captain. The team also includes Nishant Sindhu, Prabhsimran Singh (WK), Kumar Kushagra (WK), Vipraj Nigam, Yash Thakur, Yudhvir Singh, Anshul Kamboj, Arshad Khan, and Anukul Roy.

The tournament will follow a double round-robin format, with the top two teams progressing to the final on 21 June. Across seven ODI fixtures, the series will provide a high-intensity platform for emerging international talent.

Adding the tri-nation tour broadens the broadcaster’s cricket calendar for 2026 and offers fans additional occasions to cheer for team India across all its development squads. Fans across India can watch the live coverage of the series from 10:00 am IST in five languages; English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

One of the biggest draws for viewers will be to watch the biggest sensation in Indian cricket,  teenage prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi whose explosive talent is making him one of the most talked-about players today.”
