Apurba Sen

Bullet, the microdrama platform backed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises ('Z'), today announced the appointment of Apurba Sen as vice president, business strategy and sales.

Sen moves from SimpleMagic, where he was co-founder, lead partnerships and growth.

His appointment comes as the company enters its next phase of growth following the launch of Trinetra AI, its end-to-end AI filmmaking and content intelligence platform.

In his new role, Sen will lead the strategic initiatives from the founder's office across Bullet Microdrama, Trinetra AI, and future business ventures. He will work closely with the leadership team to drive business growth, strategic partnerships, fundraising, commercial expansion, and international market development.

Azim Lalani, co-founder and chief business officer, Bullet Microdrama, said, "We are at an exciting stage of growth as we expand Bullet Microdrama and scale Trinetra AI. Apurba brings a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial leadership, and deep experience across digital and emerging technologies. His expertise in building partnerships and scaling businesses will be invaluable as we strengthen our presence in India and accelerate our global ambitions. We're delighted to welcome him to the leadership team."

Sen added, "Bullet Microdrama's mission is the most purposeful I've signed up for in my career. It's already one of India's top micro-drama destinations, and with Trinetra AI's end-to-end content intelligence and AI filmmaking platform, our ambition is even bigger; to build the missing intelligence layer behind the next billion screens, an entertainment OS for creators, audio, and entertainment worldwide. I've spent my career bringing global technology to India. Now, it's time for an entertainment OS made in India, for the world.”

In a career spanning over 18 years, he has also worked with Zirca Digital Solutions, Httpool and Rediff.com, among others.
