Johnnie Walker Blue Label has appointed actor Callum Turner as its global ambassador under a year-long partnership.
To highlight this partnership, a campaign will feature Turner in a series of films, portraits and behind-the-scenes content centred on personal milestones and celebrations. As part of the collaboration, he will also travel to Scotland to explore the whisky-making process and the work of the brand's master blender.
The partnership comes as Turner prepares for several upcoming film and television projects. He currently stars in the independent films Rose Bush Pruning and Rose of Nevada and is set to appear in the romantic comedy One Night Only. He will also lead Apple TV+'s adaptation of Neuromancer next year.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label said the collaboration is aimed at introducing the whisky to new audiences while expanding its presence in popular culture.
Neil Shah, global brand director, Johnnie Walker, said, "For over 200 years, Johnnie Walker has championed progress in all its forms, and Johnnie Walker Blue Label stands as its ultimate expression. Callum embodies that same spirit: quietly persistent, endlessly dedicated to his craft, forging his own path while staying true to his roots. We're proud to welcome him to the Johnnie Walker Blue Label family as he enters the next chapter of his journey, celebrating his continued rise as an icon of style and screen through the Keep Walking spirit."
