Muthoot Fincorp has acquired the title sponsorship rights for Indian cricket for the next two home seasons.
The Kochi-based financial services company will hold the title sponsorship rights for all international and domestic matches played in India until 31 March 2028, according to reports. The association is expected to cover around 35 home internationals, comprising 10 Tests, 12 ODIs and 13 T20Is.
The partnership will take effect immediately and will be reflected in the upcoming ODI series against the West Indies, beginning on 27 September. The series is set to open in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, the home state of the Muthoot Group.
According to reports, the sponsorship, referred to as ‘Blue Muthoot’, was negotiated at the base price of INR 4.85 crore per match. However, the final value could be lower, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) yet to formally announce the deal.
Additionally, SBI Life has signed on as an associate partner of the BCCI, alongside Campa and ChatGPT, for the two-season period.
