NPCI BHIM Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), today announced the appointment of Gaurav Kochhar as chief of business.
With this development the financial services brand aims to strengthen the organisation’s leadership team and drive the next phase of growth.
Kochhar will lead initiatives to strengthen digital payments capabilities and drive market expansion.
He will be responsible for merchant acquisition, business development and deepening engagement with banks, fintechs and ecosystem partners to expand the reach of NBSL’s products and services.
Kochhar moves from ICICI Bank, where he was head - UPI, digital payments and API banking.

In a career spanning over 25 years, he has also worked with HDFC Bank and Vodafone, among others.
