Godrej Industries Group has revealed a new brand purpose and brand identity as it targets an INR 5,00,000 crore market capitalisation over the next five years.
Part of the plan is to expand from three to five publicly listed platforms during this phase. Currently, Consumer Products, Properties, and Agrovet are publicly listed.
Disco, the group's in-house design team, designed the new identity.

The group's new brand purpose is 'Crafting tomorrow since 1897,' as it looks to build on its lineage, while remaining relevant to today's youth. The refresh is currently aimed at internal stakeholders, and is also to attract young talent to the company, according to Tanya Dubash, executive director, and chief brand officer, Godrej Industries.
The group reiterated three core values it looks to build upon during this phase: Inspire trust, create delight, and be bold.
Pirojsha Godrej, chairperson designate, Godrej Industries Group, said, “Crafting tomorrow since 1897 reflects the belief that values and results must go hand in hand. As we scale, this philosophy will continue to guide how we build businesses that are both successful and responsible.”
Tanya Dubash, executive director and chief brand officer, Godrej Industries, said, “This refreshed brand identity reflects both who we are and where we are going. It reinforces the strength of the Godrej brand while creating a more contemporary and unified expression of our ambitions for tomorrow. It enables each of our businesses to connect more powerfully to a shared purpose while remaining true to their distinct roles.”
