Colgate-Palmolive has elevated Prabha Narasimhan as executive vice president, marketing, Asia-Pacific division, in a leadership transition that will see her move out of her role as managing director and CEO, Colgate-Palmolive India.
Narasimhan will take up the new marketing role from the close of business on 27 September 2026.
Manish Anandani will succeed her as managing director and CEO - India from 28 September.
Narasimhan has led Colgate-Palmolive India for four years, overseeing a period marked by premiumisation, digital transformation, e-commerce and quick-commerce expansion, and consumer-led innovation.
She joined the company in 2022 as managing director.
Her move to the Asia-Pacific marketing role comes after a career spanning brand building and category development across multiple markets. Before joining Colgate-Palmolive India, Narasimhan held senior leadership roles at Hindustan Unilever.
Anandani, who joins from Kenvue where he was managing director for India and South Asia, brings around 30 years of experience and has also worked with Johson & Johnson, among others.
He is also returning to Colgate-Palmolive, having spent 13 years with the company between 2005 and 2018 across roles in India, Indochina and the corporate office. His last role at the company was worldwide director, retail and shopper marketing and customer development capabilities.
