Bennett Coleman & Co. (BCCL) has announced the appointment of Anshul Gupta as director – RMD (results and market development), The Times of India.

Gupta will be responsible for formulating a profitable circulation strategy for driving circulation and executing strategic initiatives for effective distribution of BCCL's products. In addition, he will be driving audience engagement and revenue, in alignment with the overall brand strategy.

Gupta moves from Dabur India where he served a stint of 17 years. He last held the role of national sales head (vice president) and managing committee member at the FMCG major.

In a career spanning over 21 years, he has also worked with Perfetti Van Melle and Amul.
