Adidas has rolled out a campaign titled 'You Got This' featuring Indian cricketers ahead of the Champions Trophy.

The brand which is the official sponsor of the Indian cricket team, has extended its global campaign to the country through which its aims to disarm negative pressure in sport by highlighting the importance of positivity when the chips are down.

The campaign consists of a film featuring Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, who has seemingly bowled a bad ball. While he looks upset, his team mates, including Rishabh Pant (adidas' recently appointed brand ambassador), Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli motivate him. This gets Pandya focussed again and ready to deliver the next ball. The film is set against the soundtrack 'I'm Sticking With You' reimagined by James Blake.

What we think about it: Not only does this hold true for athletes, but people across all walks of life. Motivation is sometimes required to get the best out of oneself and the 'you got this' tagline is one that adidas has got perfectly right.

Neelendra Singh, GM, adidas India, said, “At adidas, we have always been committed to standing by our athletes, both on and off the field. Recognising that pressure is an inherent part of sports, our ‘You Got This’ campaign aims to help motivate everyone to be a positive influence on every pitch, track and court. Through this campaign, we aim to demonstrate the transformative power of someone’s positive gesture in turning self-doubt into self-belief to help athletes believe 'You Got This'.”
