Snap Inc generated a total of USD 5.36 billion revenue in 2024, which translated to 16% growth during the year.
According to its financials for the year, the majority of its growth came from direct-response advertising business which also grew at 16%.
Snapchat+, its premium exclusive, experimental, and pre-release offering (available for INR 49 per month), grew from 7 million to 14 million subscribers in 2024, leading to a 131% year-over-year growth.
In the earnings report, Snap Inc announced the elevation of Ajit Mohan, currently president - APAC, Snap, to global chief business officer.
Mohan will be responsible for growing its advertising business across all regions, and will lead revenue product and business operations organisations.
In Q4, Snap's total revenue was USD 1.56 billion, up 14% year-over-year. Advertising revenue was UD 1.41 billion, up 10% year-over-year.
In Q4, North America revenue grew 8% year-over-year and Europe revenue grew 20% year-over-year, while 'Rest of World' revenue grew 35% year-over-year.
The profit for this quarter was USD 888 million.
