On the sidelines of the Ajio Luxe Wkend, Manifest caught up with Shalini Passi, a Delhi-based art patron and collector who recently made her OTT debut with the show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, to discuss marketing art in India, brands approach art collaborations, and more.

During the interaction, Passi talked about her recent brand collaborations and how did the media limelight helped her shape 'Brand Shalini.'

She said, "After the release of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, I was scheduled to go on a vacation. Because the series was such a success, I was offered multiple interviews on different platforms. I cancelled my vacation and I thought that was appropriate because people wanted to hear more and know more about me. My DMs on social media were flooded too."

Passi, who recently curated the art for Ajio Luxe Wkend with a show ‘Fragments of Future', mentioned that there is a need to make art and art education more inclusive, which is lacking.

"I do not see much brand integration in the art world. The art world is not very inclusive when it comes to brands because artists are very particular about what they see," she added.
