The Advertising Club (TAC) has announced its managing committee for the 2026–2027 fiscal year.
Dheeraj Sinha, CEO, McCann India (part of Omnicom Advertising India), has been re-elected as president of TAC 2026-27, for the second year in a row.
Amitesh Rao has been appointed as the vice president, while Ajay Kakar and Sonia Huria are named as secretary and joint secretary, respectively. Pradeep Dwivedi will be serving as the treasurer.
Rana Barua will continue to serve on the managing committee as immediate past president for the coming year.
The other managing committee members include Aparna Bhawal, Darshana Shah, Jitender Dabas, Mitrajit Bhattacharya, Satya Raghavan, Sapangeet Rajwant, and Varun Sethuraman.
Punitha Arumugam, Sagnik Ghosh, and Avinash Kaul are co-opted members.
Special invitees include Ajay Chandwani, Lulu Raghavan, Amin Lakhani, Debasree Dasgupta, Subramanyeswar S, Saket Jha Saurabh, and Amogh Dusad.
Sinha said, “Over the past year, we started the journey of transforming The Advertising Club on the principle of change with continuity, keeping the legacy of seven decades of TAC, while evolving it for the new times. We brought greater diversity to the Club, with members and voices from across marketing, media and the wider ecosystem and upgraded our events. This was also the year we re-envisioned our positioning that establishes The Advertising Club as a beacon for an industry at the cusp of transformation. For us, 2026-27 will be the year to amplify this momentum and lead the industry through this change with a strong, collective voice, bringing together the diversity of perspectives and experiences that will shape its next chapter.”
