Advertising professionals Tanurupa Pal and Shayon Pal have launched Philosophy Brand Solutions, an independent creative agency in Mumbai.

The duo previously worked with JWT (now VML) and Lowe Lintas.

The agency will offer end-to-end brand solutions spanning strategy, creative development and production, working with startups and established brands. Its approach centres on understanding consumer behaviour and identifying human insights to inform brand communication.

Philosophy Brand Solutions will develop campaigns across television, digital, print and outdoor media. Its services will also include brand strategy and positioning, brand identity, product launches, photography, digital video production and AI-enabled production.

Tanurupa has held senior creative roles, including vice president, JWT across its Mumbai and Delhi operations. Her portfolio includes brands such as Horlicks, Sunsilk, Pizza Hut, Domino’s, Iodex, Sony Sports, UNICEF, Veet, DLF, Hero and Indian Oil.

Shayon’s previous roles include regional creative head, Lowe Lintas, creative head, Famous Innovations and chief creative officer, Network. His work includes campaigns for Google, Tanishq, IDFC FIRST Bank, Reliance Jewels, Surf Excel, Britannia, Mahindra Lifespaces, Havells, Hindustan Times, Micromax, OLX and Maruti Suzuki.

Tanurupa said, “Every brand has a Philosophy at its core. The challenge is to uncover it, understand what it means to people and translate it into communication that feels relevant and meaningful. At Philosophy, we want to bring that thinking into every stage of brand building, from the first strategic question to the final creative execution. Our belief is that strong ideas come from understanding people, not simply from following what is trending.”

Shayondeep added, “The advertising landscape is changing rapidly, with brands expected to move faster, work across more platforms and demonstrate the value of their communication. But speed and technology alone cannot make an idea distinctive. We want Philosophy to be a place where strategic clarity, creative ambition and execution work together. Our focus is on developing ideas that are true to the brand, meaningful to consumers and flexible enough to work across platforms.”
